Colloidal Silver Dosage and Concentration

Questions about colloidal silver often involve two very different concepts: concentration and dosage.

Ultra Silver products are labeled according to their silver concentration in PPM, or parts per million. PPM describes the amount of silver present in the product. It does not represent a recommended dose.

What Does PPM Mean?

PPM stands for parts per million and describes concentration.

Ultra Silver is available in:

  • 500 PPM
  • 1,000 PPM
  • 5,000 PPM
  • 10,000 PPM

For more information, see our Colloidal Silver Concentration page.

Concentration Is Not Dosage

Bottle size and PPM tell you about the product itself. They do not establish how much a person should consume or use for a medical purpose.

Ultra Silver does not provide medical dosing recommendations.

Is There an Established Medical Dose for Colloidal Silver?

Colloidal silver is not approved by the FDA as a treatment for diseases or medical conditions, and established medical dosing instructions should not be inferred from a product's PPM concentration.

If you have questions about using a silver product in relation to your health, medications, or a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Why Offer Different Concentrations?

Different concentrations allow customers to select among products containing different amounts of silver per unit of liquid.

Ultra Silver specializes in concentrated formulations ranging from 500 PPM through 10,000 PPM and offers several bottle sizes.
